Charles J. RowlandCharles J. Rowland

Chuck Rowland has responsibility for all Risk & Performance Solutions operations outside of the U.S. and Canada, which includes offices in 11 countries and clients in 57 countries. In his 19 years with Fiserv he has consulted with banks, savings institutions and credit unions, conducted his own profitability and risk management seminars and spoken at numerous industry meetings and conventions in nearly 40 countries.

Prior to joining Fiserv, Rowland created and managed the asset/liability management department and process for a Fortune 100 U.S. company. Rowland, a CPA, was extensively involved in auditing, market research, sales, and management consulting. He also managed corporate financial forecasting and merger/acquisition analysis.

He earned Bachelor of Science degrees in accounting and business from the University of Kentucky and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Illinois.

Clement Ooi joined Risk & Performance Solutions in 1996. He oversees business strategies, business development, and operations across ASPAC. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Manitoba, Canada and a Master of Business Administration degree from Northwest Missouri State University. He has also earned a professional designation in accounting, and a professional designation in international trade.

Suresh Sankaran joined Risk & Performance Solutions in 1998. He currently leads the enterprise risk management (ERM) and Basel II advisory, education and consulting services teams, managing the delivery of projects around the world.

A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Sankaran has led many workshops and projects related to market and credit risk, Basel II, balance-sheet management and profitability measurement. He specializes in the application of value-based performance management frameworks within banks, developing performance management frameworks and reporting systems, risk capital allocation methodologies, balance-sheet risk measurement and management capabilities, cost allocation and negotiation techniques, and operating risk capital frameworks.

Sankaran helps Fiserv clients implement and deploy the latest solutions in the field of financial engineering, providing advice on term structure models, valuation strategies, value at risk, and credit risk.
